Peas release me...
We have been harvesting again. The peas have been great this year and I still haven't managed to get any near a saucepan. Here is OS demonstrating his technique.
I love your post titles, very witty! I have yet to harvest my peas. I picked 5 pods last week and they were delicious and like OS we ate them out of the pods. Tomorrow, weather permitting, I shall harvest a lot as the pods look very swollen.
I've always had a passion for plants especially edible ones. We have a young family so it seemed the ideal time to get an allotment in rural Leicestershire and get them involved. We have a small half plot and aim to make it productive and fun. If I can do it you can too - get digging!

ReplyDeleteWe're harvesting peas here too. Aren't they delicious eaten straight from the pod?
