Hmmm not sure if I quite understand the reason for your excitment ! is it so you don't have to water the plot ? or that you wont have to visit the plot ? M x
ReplyDeleteIt rained here last night...though to be honest what we got hardly seemed worth it....hoping for a bit more....or maybe a lot more so that it will making the going easier when I next get down the plot!!
ReplyDeleteWe do have taps at the allotment but I have been having to get up at 5.30 to beat the rest to it, watering seems to be very competitive I have been 3 evenings this week and not had a free tap within hose distance on any of them. I would prefer to water in the evening but OH tends to be working when I need to get the boys to bed. So I am joyful on 2 counts - no more arms like gorillas from carring countless watering cans and no more early starts (I do like my beauty sleep). The plot will look much better for a full drink too.

ReplyDeleteWhat about getting a water butt? That's our plan for the summer - along with many other things. If you pop over to my blog you'll see we're not getting on very fast with any of them. I thought once I had teenage children I'd have more time, but it hasn't worked out that way!
