The exponential growth of seeds

How is it that you start off with just a few innocuous seed packets, and end up needing to move house? The tomatoes are a case in point. One packet sown in two pots transplanted today into twenty pots...

I'm counting the weeks until we are safe from frost.

  1. I confess that I've done the same with the onions, I have hundreds of them. Never having grown them from seeds before, I got impatient and thought they weren't going to germinate and sowed another lot, needless to say they all came up. Oh well onion soup anyone ?

  2. You will find however that if you decide not to plant more on the basis that they will come up eventually - they won't! Fickle, fickle things seeds.
